Carlos Cuesta García (born 29 July 1995) is a Spanish football coach who is assistant coach of Premier League club Arsenal.
Career
[edit]Born in Mallorca, Cuesta was part of Santa Catalina Atlético academy, before deciding to start studying for a career in football management at the age of 18.[1] He started his managerial career as manager of the youth academy of Spanish side Atlético Madrid.[2][3][4] In 2018, he was appointed assistant manager of the youth academy of Juventus in Italy.[5]
On 20 August 2020, Cuesta was appointed assistant coach to Mikel Arteta at English Premier League club Arsenal, working alongside assistant coaches Albert Stuivenberg, Steve Round and Miguel Molina, set-piece coach Andreas Georgson and goalkeeping coach Iñaki Caña.[6][7][8]
